Careers of Anderson, Rose and Bauer spanned 50 Years

Three Mondovi High School football coaches whose teams laid a strong foundation - fortified with conference championships and state tournament appearances are acknowledged with bronze plaques at the MHS Concession Stand.

Each of the plaques feature the coaches win/loss records, career highlights and individual achievements. This project was sponsored by the Mondovi Football Booster Club. A special thanks to Larry Winsand and Mike Lind for their efforts in gathering information and money for this project.

Mike Anderson won five conference championships in consecutive seasons, plus his team was undefeated in 1962.

Jim Rose won five conference championships in consecutive seasons and led the Buffaloes to their first ever state playoff experience in 1976.

Tom Bauer's 21-year career featured a WIAA D4 State Championship game appearance in 1990, plus seven state playoff games and five conference titles.
